Fortress GB Systems are in place at many of Europe’s leading stadiums including Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium, the London 02 Arena and the San Siro Stadium in Milan where they have helped operators develop exciting new revenue streams. The multi-application smart cards operate successfully to great effect in sports, entertainment, education and aviation industries.

Simulation

Simulation science is fast becoming an organisational necessity for any growing business. In partnership with recognised world leaders Simudyne, ACR brings the benefits of simulation science into the aviation, transport,

oil, gas and commercial sectors in the Middle East. Simulation brings insight, foresight and team effectiveness allowing business processes to be accurately mapped on a simulation model, helping managers to see ‘unintended consequences’ before they happen and, of course, act on them.

Simudyne’s relationships with industry leaders, such as IBM, ensures state-of-the-art simulation architectures and super-computing power is now available at affordable cost, allowing clients to deploy simulation science to dramatically improve decision making and generate significantly improved profitability.

Simulation science can be used to streamline any business process, for example to model passenger, baggage, staff and vehicle flows, ensuring a smooth and successful opening of any new terminal or facility.

Detection

Through its partnerships with DiagNose and System Two, ACR Gulf offers two unique detection systems.

RASCargO is ideally suited to the detection of explosives or narcotics in large items such as trucks or pallets. Air samples are extracted from the truck and passed through a filter. The filter is taken to a remote location and subjected to examination by highly-trained canines. The whole process takes only minutes and the result is a highly effective, reliable and cost-effective detection system. The RASCargO system is in use in European countries, including France and the UK, where it is approved by the appropriate regulators. With no major capital investment, high detection and low false alarms, RASCargO is the perfect solution for screening difficult or bulky items.

System Two’s explosive test kit is a small, dry-pack portable kit for the detection of explosive residues. It is the most affordable, compact, robust and comprehensive explosive test device of its kind in the world. The kit contains one pre-wetted swab and one plastic device containing 3 miniature tests, corresponding to all classes of explosives. It is carried in a small plastic pouch and is safe, easy to use, highly efficient and extremely cost-effective. It is ideal for deployment to police, military, aviation security officers and many other organisations.
